Responsibilities:
The First Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Air Inuit's DHC 8 aircraft. Key responsibilities include:
- Active participation in the company's comprehensive safety management system.
- Maintaining responsibility for the safety of all passengers and crew throughout every flight.
- Adhering to all regulations and standards set forth by Transport Canada, the aircraft manufacturer, and Air Inuit.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1,000 hours total flying time.
- Valid Canadian Type Rating for Two Crew Aeroplanes (IATRA) or Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
- Category 1 Medical Certificate.
- Eligibility to hold a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).
- Valid Passport.
Assets:
- Previous Dash 8 experience.
- Experience with Northern flying operations.
- 705 experience.
- Post-secondary education.
- Bilingualism in French and English.
- Inuktitut language skills.
