Responsibilities:

The First Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Air Inuit's DHC 8 aircraft. Key responsibilities include:

Active participation in the company's comprehensive safety management system.
Maintaining responsibility for the safety of all passengers and crew throughout every flight.
Adhering to all regulations and standards set forth by Transport Canada, the aircraft manufacturer, and Air Inuit.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1,000 hours total flying time.
Valid Canadian Type Rating for Two Crew Aeroplanes (IATRA) or Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
Category 1 Medical Certificate.
Eligibility to hold a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).
Valid Passport.

Assets:

Previous Dash 8 experience.
Experience with Northern flying operations.
705 experience.
Post-secondary education.
Bilingualism in French and English.
Inuktitut language skills.
