About the Role
PAL Airlines is seeking Direct Entry Captains and First Officers for full-time, permanent positions. This role involves operating a fleet of Dash 8 aircraft across a wide network of destinations in Canada and Eastern North America. Crew bases are located in St. John’s, Halifax, and Montreal.
About the Aircraft
The airline operates a fleet comprising Dash 8-100, Dash 8-300, and Dash 8-Q400 aircraft.
Requirements

Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).

Valid Group 1 Instrument Rating.

Valid Multi-Engine rating.
-
Valid Class 1 Medical.

One of the following:
-
Valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence).

SAMRA and SARON written exams passed within the last two years.

IATRA written exam passed within the last two years.
-
Direct Entry Captain applicants must hold an ATPL.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).

Current passport at the time of hire.

Ability to travel without restrictions to the United States.

Ability to obtain and maintain a C-1/D transit/crewmember visa.

Legally entitled to work in Canada.

High school diploma completed.

Transport Canada English proficiency standard at level 4.

Preference may be given to candidates holding a Canadian ATPL and those with two-crew multi-engine turbine experience.
Qualifications
