Cabin Crew Member

This individual serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and enhancing the corporate image through exceptional customer experiences. This role demands the provision of outstanding service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The cabin crew member maintains operational readiness, adhering to company policies and procedures, and actively contributes to achieving set productivity measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct: Ensures punctuality, appropriate grooming, physical fitness, and legal compliance for all assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, assigned roles, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
  • Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their well-being and comfort at all times. Identifies safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Provides first aid to passengers when necessary. Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Customer Service: Greets passengers and assists with boarding procedures, inputting essential data into the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA regulations. Delivers consistent, high-quality customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Recognizes and aids passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions. Contributes to maximizing onboard revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting onboard meals, products, and charitable services, achieving individual and team targets. Manages cash and credit card payments securely for individual sales and donations.
  • Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering, and reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain as needed. Ensures the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit locations and that adequate recatering and duty-free products are available. Ensures the orderly transfer of the cabin to and from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports as per established protocols, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, documenting any issues or discrepancies, and securing duty-free containers. Reports on passenger conduct and assumes the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain. Maintains current professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedure drills, educational workshops, and by maintaining a valid license. Actively contributes to team success by achieving sales targets and objectives.

Work Experience and Competencies:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous customer service experience in the airline, aviation, or hospitality sectors is advantageous.
  • Previous cabin crew experience is considered a plus.
  • An active cabin crew license is beneficial.
  • Ability to work in shift patterns and for extended hours.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Proven ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
