Cabin Crew - Air Arabia

Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member serves as Air Arabia's ambassador, striving to achieve customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image. This role is dedicated to enhancing the overall customer experience by providing excellent customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member must be prepared and fit to operate effectively, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities
Conduct
- Ensures timely attendance, adherence to grooming standards, personal fitness, and legal requirements for assigned flights.
- Participates in pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.
Safety Measures
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures to be followed, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers as needed.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities. Enters necessary data into the aircraft logbook in accordance with Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provides consistently excellent customer service to passengers, addressing pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following the relevant policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other applicable instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports
- Conducts pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment before takeoff. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available before flying.
- Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures. Provides objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reports any problems or discrepancies during the flight, and closes and seals duty-free containers.
- Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for the conduct of passengers. Performs the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated as such by the Captain.
- Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring a current license.
- Contributes to the team effort by achieving related results and meeting allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements
- Age: Between 20 and 30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: To be in proportion to age and height
- Clear skin with no marks or tattoos that would be visible while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable for this role. A diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Fit to fly, with good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality industries is considered an added value.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in a shift pattern and for extended working hours.
- Shows high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
