Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to foster customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He/She provides excellent customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort are achieved throughout the complete flight cycle, and maintains readiness to operate in line with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and compliance for assigned flights; attending briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, targets, and security checks.
- Instructing passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifying and reporting safety and security risks, partnering with the Cabin Supervisor to take appropriate action.
- Administering first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding formalities; entering necessary data into the aircraft log book.
- Providing consistent and excellent customer service by attending to passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties.
- Contributing to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services.
- Ensuring proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments.
- Carrying out pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment; reporting any deficiencies.
- Assisting in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided.
- Ensuring orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Carrying out post-flight briefings and assessment reports; providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor; reporting any problems or discrepancies on the flight, closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Accounting to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and carrying out the duties of ‘Cabin Supervisor’ when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining professional and safety knowledge through recurrent trainings, emergency procedure trainings, and educational workshops.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results and achieving sales targets.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (Diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus)
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures (added value)
- Fit to fly, good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is an advantage.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended working hours.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
