Cabin Crew Position - Air Arabia
Air Arabia is seeking a highly motivated and service-oriented individual to join its team as a Cabin Crew Member. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety, comfort, and overall positive experience of passengers throughout their flight journey. Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew Member acts as Air Arabia's brand ambassador, prioritizing customer satisfaction and promoting a positive company image. They are responsible for providing outstanding customer service to all passengers while upholding the highest standards of safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to operate efficiently, ensuring productivity aligns with company policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities:
Conduct:
- Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, and fitness, adhering to all legal requirements for assigned flights.
- Actively participates in pre-flight briefings, ensuring understanding of flight details, role distribution, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other essential information.
Safety Measures:
- Provides clear instructions to passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to take corrective actions according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain, as appropriate.
Customer Service:
- Warmly welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately recording data in the aircraft logbook in accordance with Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Consistently provides exceptional customer service, addressing passengers' individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other applicable instructions.
- Actively promotes onboard meals, products, and charity services to maximize onboard revenue and contribute to the "Charity Cloud" program, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures secure and accurate handling of cash and credit card payments for individual sales and donations managed personally.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment prior to takeoff. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain, as appropriate.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before departure.
- Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Compiles post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any problems or discrepancies encountered during the flight, and closing and sealing duty-free containers.
- Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and assumes the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains professional and safety knowledge through continuous training, including recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and by ensuring the currency of their license.
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Appearance: Clear skin without any visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medical Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
- Swimming Ability: Able to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (a diploma in Travel/Tourism is an advantage).
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is highly desirable.
- Excellent general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality Industries is considered an asset.
- An active cabin crew license is advantageous.
- Ability to work in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Proven ability to contribute effectively and deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
