Cabin Crew Opportunity - Air Arabia (Greece)
Air Arabia is seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join its cabin crew team for a recruitment drive based in Greece. Candidates must be available for assessments in Athens. The successful candidate will act as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. This role requires providing excellent customer service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle, and maintaining readiness and fitness to operate in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and adherence to regulations for assigned flights. Attending briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Instructing passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifying and reporting safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding formalities, accurately entering necessary data into the aircraft log book in accordance with Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Providing consistently excellent customer service by attending to individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures in the Operations Manual.
- Contributing to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensuring proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
- Conducting pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment are available, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assisting in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flying.
- Ensuring the orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Conducting post-flight briefings and assessment reports as per adopted policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, and reporting any problems or discrepancies on the flight, including the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reporting passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor; performing the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, and by ensuring current license validity.
- Contributing to team success by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years old.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height.
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is an advantage.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
