Air Arabia is seeking dynamic and professional individuals to join its team as Cabin Crew. This pivotal role serves as an ambassador for the airline, dedicated to cultivating customer loyalty and upholding a positive corporate image by consistently enhancing the passenger experience. The Cabin Crew is paramount in ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout every phase of the flight cycle, maintaining operational readiness and productivity in strict adherence to company policies and procedures.

Important Note: This vacancy is exclusively for a recruitment drive held in Greece. Only candidates available for assessments in Athens will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, maintains impeccable grooming standards, and verifies physical fitness and compliance for assigned flights. Participates actively in pre-flight briefings to confirm understanding of flight details, role assignments, sales targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
  • Safety and Security: Provides passengers with clear instructions on safety procedures to guarantee their well-being and comfort at all times. Collaborates closely with the Cabin Supervisor to identify potential safety and security risks and implements corrective actions in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid to passengers as required. Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Welcomes passengers warmly and assists with boarding processes. Accurately records necessary data in the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures. Delivers consistently high standards of customer service, attending attentively to passenger pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs. Identifies and provides support to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established guidelines in the Operations Manual. Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and services, thereby achieving individual and team sales objectives. Ensures the secure and accurate handling of all cash and credit card payments for sales and donations.
  • Checks and Reporting: Conducts comprehensive pre-flight checks to confirm the availability of sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering items, and other required equipment before departure, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Assists in supervising cabin cleaning at transit stations and verifies adequate re-catering and duty-free supplies are provided. Manages the orderly handover/takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per policy, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight discrepancies, and securing duty-free inventory. Reports passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and is prepared to assume the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain. Maintains essential professional and safety knowledge through participation in recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, ensuring an active cabin crew license is held. Contributes collaboratively to team success, including achieving allocated sales targets and broader objectives.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm for female applicants, 168 cm for male applicants.
  • Weight: Must be in proportion to height and age.
  • Appearance: Possesses clear skin free from visible marks or tattoos when wearing the official cabin crew uniform.
  • Health: Medically and physically fit to fulfil all cabin crew responsibilities. Candidates must be fit to fly, exhibiting good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Swimming Ability: Must be capable of swimming with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is the minimum requirement. A diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
  • Training: Previous training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is considered an added value.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required.
  • Language: Must demonstrate fluency in both written and spoken English.

Work Experience

  • Applications from fresh graduates are encouraged.
  • Prior experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality sectors is beneficial.
  • Holding an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Candidates must be capable of working flexible shift patterns and extended hours.
  • High levels of flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and demanding schedules are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively and successfully achieve results aligned with policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is necessary.
