Air Arabia Cabin Crew Member
Air Arabia is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Cabin Crew Member to act as an ambassador for the airline. The successful candidate will strive to achieve customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He or she will provide excellent customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew Member must maintain readiness and fitness to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights. Attending briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, targets, and security protocols.
- Instructing passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifying safety and security risks and collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering first aid to passengers as needed.
- Promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Providing consistent excellent customer service, attending to passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures.
- Contributing to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensuring proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments for individual sales and donations.
- Conducting pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assisting in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided.
- Ensuring orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completing post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies, providing objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, and reporting any problems or discrepancies.
- Accounting to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct; carrying out the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops, and by maintaining a current license.
- Contributing to team success by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 30 years for candidates without prior Cabin Crew experience; up to 33 years for experienced Cabin Crew.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height.
- Clear skin, free of visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the airlines/aviation or hospitality industries is an advantage.
- An active cabin crew license is a plus.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
