Pilot in Command - Pilatus PC-12

About the Role:
The PIC will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, supporting Advanced Air's Essential Air Service communities and on-demand charter services. This role demands a strong ability to multi-task, making high-level complex decisions while completing a variety of aviation-related tasks. Responsibilities:
- Maintain final authority for the safe operation of the aircraft in accordance with FAR 91.3
- Ensure the security of the aircraft throughout all operations
- Conduct thorough preflight inspections, verifying airworthiness and required documentation
- Review and adhere to flight briefs, weather information, operating procedures, and special instructions
- Comply with all Federal Aviation regulations, company manuals, policies, and procedures
- Maintain accurate flight and duty records, reporting any aircraft maintenance discrepancies
- Proactively contribute to safety and quality systems, identifying, reporting, and mitigating potential issues
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1200 hours total flight time, including 500 hours PIC, 500 hours cross-country, 100 hours night, and 75 hours instrument (50 hours actual)
- High-level working knowledge of FAR Part 91, 61, and AIM Part Section 4 and 5
- Ability to work in confined spaces and handle heavy objects exceeding 150 lbs
- Ability to safely access the aircraft wing for preflight, post-flight, and emergency procedures
- Ability to execute flights up to 4.5 hours, totaling up to 10 hours within a 14-hour duty period
- CFI, CFII, and MEI certificates are preferred but not required
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $163,546, commensurate with experience
- Potential annual gross compensation exceeding $170,000 based on flight hours and seniority

Work Environment:
