Position Summary

Acuity Inc. is seeking a qualified Pilot to join our aviation team. The Pilot reports to the Vice President of Aviation Operations and is responsible for the safe conduct of assigned flights, ensuring the operation, safety, and security of the aircraft, crew members, passengers, and cargo. The role requires maintaining professionalism and providing courteous service.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all flight responsibilities comply with the Company Flight Operations Manual, Safety Management System, Training Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations and Airmen Information Manual provisions.
  • Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging developments and trends for assigned areas of responsibility, assessing impact, and collaborating with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Directing and enhancing organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Identifying and directing the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department, and business unit.
  • Directing complex assignments, projects, and initiatives focused on continuous improvement.
  • Operating aircraft in accordance with operating procedures and aircraft limitations.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned by management professionally and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of corporate flight department experience is required.
  • A valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate is required.
  • A valid and current U.S. Passport is required.
  • A CE-680 type rating is preferred.
  • No FAA sanctions or accidents in the last 5 years.
  • A minimum of 3000 hours of total flight time with 1000 hours of jet experience is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lift 40 lbs. to shoulder level due to baggage loading requirements.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret internal and external documents such as general media, publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal, and superb customer service skills.
  • Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed, and logical discussions.
  • Proficiency in applying mathematical concepts related to aircraft operations for weight and balancing, including probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, and proportions, as well as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to evaluate trends in data or information.
  • Ability to perform under stress in cases of emergency, critical, or hazardous situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Successful relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g., senior management, peers, and colleagues).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
  • Ability to find common ground and gain collaboration among senior/executive management, colleagues, and peers; ability to influence outcomes without directing or commanding.
  • Successful completion of regulatory and job training requirements.
  • Must be local to the Atlanta, Georgia area.
  • Available for 100% travel (domestic and international).

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $137,200.00 to $246,900.00. Placement within this range will vary based on the applicant's experience and geographic location. Acuity offers comprehensive benefits, including health care, dental coverage, vision plans, 401K benefits, and commissions/incentive compensation depending on the role.
