Second in Command (First Officer) - Aviation Career Opportunity
The Second in Command is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the aircraft during both normal and non-normal situations, under the directives of a Captain or the Aircraft Commander, and if applicable, the First Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides continuous input and assistance to the Captain in ensuring flights are operated in a safe and efficient manner.
- Serves as a brand ambassador of the airline, maintaining a high personal standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance while on duty.
- Demonstrates responsibility for the duty of care and welfare of the crew and customers.
- Supports the Commander in ensuring the appropriate fueling, baggage/cargo loading, and servicing of the aircraft.
- Ensures the proper execution of duties as specified in the airline's Operations Manuals.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma.
Licenses:
- 1st Class Medical certificate from ICAO.
- CPL/IR with MCC for Frozen ATPL.
Certifications:
- GCAA Air-law exam (Applicable to Foreign license holders).
- ELP level 4 or above.
- Proof of completion of Military Service before joining (preferred) or Proof of exemption.
Languages:
- Fluent in English & Arabic.
Experience:
Professional Experience:
- 225 hours flying time (ages 20-34).
- 1,000 hours flying time (ages 35-50).

ISR Requirements:
The Second in Command reads and complies with the company's Information Security Requirements (ISR) policies, diligently reports any weaknesses or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team, completes all required ISR awareness sessions, and follows associated guidelines in day-to-day business operations.
