First Officer (Pilot)
Job Summary
The First Officer serves as the 'Second in Command', primarily responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the aircraft during both normal and non-normal situations. The role operates under the guidance of the Captain or Aircraft Commander, and in coordination with the First Officer where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides continuous input and assistance to the Captain, ensuring flights are operated safely and efficiently.
- Acts as a brand ambassador for the airline, maintaining a high standard of personal discipline, conduct, and appearance while on duty.
- Demonstrates responsibility for the duty of care and welfare of both crew members and passengers.
- Supports the Commander in overseeing the appropriate fueling, baggage/cargo loading, and servicing of the aircraft.
- Ensures the proper execution of duties as specified in the instructions and procedures outlined in the company's Operations Manuals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
- Minimum flying time requirements:
- 225 hours for candidates aged 20-34.
- 1,000 hours for candidates aged 35-50.
- Hold or be eligible for a GCAA Air-law exam pass (applicable to foreign license holders).
- Achieve an English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 4 or above.
- Possession of a valid 1st Class Medical Certificate from ICAO.
- Hold a valid CPL/IR with MCC for Frozen ATPL.
- Proof of completion of military service or military exemption (preferred).

Information Security Requirements (ISR)
The successful candidate is required to read and comply with the Company's ISR policies, diligently reporting any weaknesses or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completion of all required ISR awareness sessions and adherence to associated guidelines in day-to-day business operations is mandatory.
