First Officer
Role Summary:
The First Officer serves as the Second in Command of the aircraft, operating under the direction of the Captain (Aircraft Commander). This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft during all phases of flight, including normal and non-normal situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides continuous assistance and professional input to the Captain to ensure the safe and efficient conduct of flights.
- Acts as a dedicated brand ambassador for the airline while on duty, upholding exceptional standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance.
- Accepts responsibility for the duty of care and welfare of all crew members and passengers aboard the aircraft.
- Supports the Aircraft Commander in overseeing essential pre-flight preparations, including appropriate fueling, accurate baggage/cargo loading, and required aircraft servicing.
- Ensures meticulous execution of all duties and procedures as specified in the airline's official Operations Manuals.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic.
- Minimum flying time requirements: 225 hours for applicants aged 20-34, or 1,000 hours for applicants aged 35-50.
- Successful completion of the GCAA Air-law exam (for foreign license holders).
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or higher.
- Proof of completion of military service (preferred) or military exemption.
- Hold a valid ICAO First Class Medical Certificate.
- Hold a valid CPL/IR license with MCC certificate (for Frozen ATPL holders).
