Aviation Professional - Second in Command

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of aircraft, functioning as the Second in Command under the directives of the Captain or Aircraft Commander, and if applicable, the First Officer. This position is critical for managing both normal and non-normal flight situations.

• Provides continuous support and assistance to the Captain to ensure flights are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Serves as a brand ambassador for the airline, maintaining high standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance while on duty.
• Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility for the duty of care and welfare of both crew members and customers.
• Assists the Commander in overseeing appropriate aircraft fueling, baggage/cargo loading, and servicing procedures.
• Ensures the precise execution of duties as specified in the flydubai Operations Manuals and associated procedures.

• High School Diploma required.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential.
• Minimum flying time: 225 hours for candidates aged 20-34; 1,000 hours for candidates aged 35-50.
• Successful completion of the GCAA Air-law exam (if holding a foreign license).
• English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 4 or above.
• Proof of completion of military service or exemption is preferred.
• Possession of a 1st Class Medical Certificate from an ICAO-approved medical examiner.
• Hold a CPL/IR with MCC for a Frozen ATPL.

Candidates must read and adhere to the company's ISR policies, diligently reporting any weaknesses or incidents to the relevant Line Manager or the Information Security team. Successful candidates will complete all required ISR awareness sessions and integrate associated guidelines into daily business operations.
