Cadets will collaborate with leading professionals within the UAE's national carrier, benefiting from comprehensive training designed to cultivate the personal and professional competencies essential for a successful flying career with Etihad.
Candidates selected for the programme are required to commit to a rigorous two-year structured training curriculum. This includes obtaining the necessary flight qualifications through participation in ground school sessions both within the UAE and internationally, extensive flight simulations, and practical flying training. Adhering to Etihad's foundational 'Safety First, Always' principle, which underpins its impeccable record in safe flight operations, safety will be a core component of the training. Cadets will be thoroughly instructed in, and expected to consistently adhere to, safety protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and all relevant regulatory requirements. Throughout their training journey, cadets will receive invaluable mentoring and support from highly experienced instructor pilots.
Successful candidates will receive a monthly salary of AED 5,000 during the initial two-year training phase. Upon successful completion of the License Skill Test (LST), the salary will increase to AED 16,667 per month, supplemented by variable allowances, for a period of six months. Following the completion of Line Training Under Supervision (LFUS), the monthly salary will further rise to AED 24,000 plus variable allowances. This is followed by step increments over four years, with the salary capped at AED 34,000 per month. Upon accumulating the requisite flying hours and obtaining the Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), cadets will be promoted to Senior First Officer (SFO), earning a monthly salary of AED 39,853.
