First Officer

Role Objective
The First Officer serves as the 'Second in Command,' primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft during both normal and non-normal situations. This role operates under the direct guidance and directives of the Captain or Aircraft Commander, ensuring strict adherence to all operational procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides continuous input and comprehensive assistance to the Captain, ensuring that all flights are operated in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
- Acts as a professional brand ambassador for the airline, especially while on duty, by maintaining the highest personal standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance.
- Demonstrates a profound responsibility for the duty of care and welfare of both the flight crew and all customers onboard.
- Supports the Commander in overseeing and verifying appropriate fueling procedures, accurate baggage and cargo loading, and the comprehensive servicing of the aircraft prior to departure.
- Ensures the meticulous and proper execution of all assigned duties in strict accordance with the instructions and procedures stipulated in the airline’s official Operations Manuals.
- Reads and meticulously complies with the Company’s Information Security Requirements (ISR) policies, diligently reporting any observed weaknesses or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. The First Officer must also complete all required ISR awareness sessions and adhere to associated guidelines in day-to-day business operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency and fluency in both English and Arabic languages.
- Possession of a valid 1st Class Medical Certificate from ICAO.
- Hold a Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating (CPL/IR) and Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course completion, leading to a Frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Meet the specified minimum flying time requirements:
- Ages 20-34: Minimum of 225 hours of total flying time.
- Ages 35-50: Minimum of 1,000 hours of total flying time.
- Successful completion of the GCAA Air Law exam (applicable to foreign license holders).
- Achieve an English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 4 or above.
- Proof of completion of military service or military exemption (preferred).
