Second in Command - Piloting Opportunity
This position focuses on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft, functioning as Second in Command under the direction of the Captain or Aircraft Commander, and when applicable, the First Officer, during both routine and non-routine flight scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Second in Command provides continuous support and assistance to the Captain in the execution of safe and efficient flight operations.
- This individual will serve as a dedicated brand ambassador for the airline, upholding exemplary standards of discipline, conduct, and professional appearance, particularly while on duty.
- He/she will demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility for the duty of care and welfare of both crew members and passengers.
- This individual will actively support the commander in guaranteeing appropriate fueling, cargo and baggage loading, and the proper servicing of the aircraft.
- He/she will ensure strict adherence to all duties as outlined in the flydubai Operations Manuals, following all specified instructions and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma.
- Licenses:
- First Class Medical certificate, issued by an ICAO recognized authority.
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) for Frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Certifications:
- GCAA Air-law exam for Foreign license holders.
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 4 or above.
- Proof of completion of Military Service before joining (preferred) or Proof of exemption.
- Languages: Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
Experience:
- Professional Experience:
- 225 hours total flying time for applicants aged 20 to 34.
- 1,000 hours total flying time for applicants aged 35 to 50.

Information Security Requirements (ISR):
The successful candidate will adhere to all company ISR policies, diligently reporting any security weaknesses or incidents to their Line Manager or the Information Security team. He/she will participate in all required ISR awareness sessions and follow associated guidelines in daily business operations.
