First Officer - Flydubai
Flydubai is seeking a qualified and highly motivated First Officer to serve as second in command of the aircraft, supporting the Captain during all normal and abnormal operations while ensuring the highest levels of safety. The First Officer upholds the corporate image of Flydubai by maintaining exemplary standards in all aspects of the position, acting as a brand ambassador at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the safe day-to-day operation of the aircraft as the second in command.
- Serve as an example for all Flydubai crew, preserving the corporate image.
- Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures by all crew members.
- Report any breaches in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or safety concerns to the company or General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) through the appropriate channels.
- Ensure fitness to fly at all times and notify the company if this condition is not met.
- Operate the aircraft according to approved policies and procedures as determined by Flydubai and the GCAA.
- Adheres to and complies with all Information Security Requirements (ISR) policies, diligently reporting any weaknesses or incidents to the Line Manager or Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness training and follows associated guidelines in daily business operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- ICAO ATPL certificate with a valid type rating.
- First Class Medical certificate from ICAO.
- English language proficiency to ICAO level 4 or above.
- Eligible for a UAE residency visa.
- Must have flown within the last 24 months.
Experience:
- B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) endorsement within the last 24 months.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours total flying time.
- Minimum of 500 hours on B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type aircraft.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of ATPL subjects.
- Excellent Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
