Primary Objective of the Role
The primary objective of the First Officer is to operate as the designated Second in Command, ensuring the secure and efficient operation of the aircraft during all phases of flight. This professional meticulously supports the Aircraft Commander in managing both standard and non-normal operational situations, prioritizing regulatory compliance and safety above all else.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Provides continuous, professional input and assistance to the Captain to guarantee all flight operations are executed safely and with maximum efficiency.
- Serves as a proactive brand ambassador for the airline, diligently upholding the highest personal standards of discipline, professional conduct, and impeccable appearance while on duty.
- Demonstrates unwavering responsibility for the welfare, duty of care, and safety of all flight crew members and valued customers.
- Supports the Commander in critical ground operations, including accurate fueling procedures, comprehensive baggage/cargo loading supervision, and ensuring timely aircraft servicing.
- Ensures the strict and proper execution of all assigned duties as specified by the instructions and procedures detailed within the corporate Operations Manuals, maintaining full regulatory compliance.
Mandatory Qualifications
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent certification is required.
- Successful completion of Type Rating requirements for the B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) series.
- The B737 Type Rating must be endorsed and current within the last 24 months.
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 1,500 Multi-Pilot Aircraft (MPA) flight hours.
- A specific requirement of 500 hours flown on the B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type aircraft.
- Demonstrated professional fluency in the English language (written and verbal).

The professional is required to complete all mandated ISR awareness sessions and adhere to associated guidelines throughout all day-to-day business operations.
