Aviation Career Opportunity: Highly Qualified First Officer (B737 NG/EFIS)

Role Summary and Primary Objective

This critical role serves as the First Officer, the highly competent Second in Command of the aircraft. The primary objective is to diligently ensure the safe, disciplined, and efficient operation of the aircraft across all normal, abnormal, and emergency flight profiles, operating strictly under the command and direction of the Aircraft Commander.

Key Operational Responsibilities

  • Provides consistent, professional support and essential input to the Aircraft Commander (Captain), contributing proactively to the efficient and secure execution of all flight operations.
  • Upholds the highest possible standards of professional conduct, discipline, and personal appearance, acting as an exemplary brand ambassador for the airline at all times while on duty.
  • Assumes full responsibility for the duty of care and overall welfare of both the flight crew and all esteemed passengers during flight operations.
  • Collaborates effectively with the Commander to supervise and ensure the accuracy of aircraft servicing, including appropriate fueling levels and adherence to safe baggage and cargo loading procedures.
  • Ensures the rigorous execution and compliance with all stipulated duties, technical instructions, and procedural guidelines detailed within the airline's comprehensive Operations Manuals.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent academic qualification is required.
  • Candidate must possess a current and valid Type Rating for B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) aircraft, endorsed within the preceding 24 months.
  • A minimum of 1,500 Multi-Pilot Aircraft (MPA) total flying hours.
  • A minimum of 500 flight hours specifically on B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type aircraft.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and complete fluency in the English language (written and verbal).

Information Security Risk (ISR) Compliance

All successful applicants must read and rigorously comply with the Company's Information Security Risk (ISR) policies. The role mandates the diligent reporting of any security weaknesses or incidents to the designated Line Manager or the Information Security team. The candidate is required to complete all requisite ISR awareness sessions and adhere strictly to associated guidelines during all day-to-day business operations.
