First Officer - Flydubai
Flydubai is seeking a highly skilled and motivated First Officer to serve as second in command of the aircraft. The First Officer will support the Captain during all normal and abnormal situations, ensuring the highest possible level of safety is maintained. He/She will uphold the corporate image at all times, setting, maintaining, and demonstrating high standards in all aspects of the position, acting as a brand ambassador for flydubai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the safe day-to-day operation of the aircraft as second in command.
- Serve as an example to all flydubai crew, preserving the company's corporate image.
- Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures by all crew members.
- Notify the company or GCAA of any breaches in SOP or safety through the appropriate reporting channels, facilitating continuous improvement in flight safety.
- Ensure fitness to fly at all times and promptly notify the company if unfit.
- Operate the aircraft according to the approved policies and procedures as determined by flydubai and the GCAA.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
Minimum Qualification:
- ICAO ATPL certificate with a valid type rating.
- 1st Class Medical certificate from ICAO.
- English proficiency to ICAO level 4 or above.
- Eligible for a UAE residency visa.
- Must have flown within the last 24 months.
Experience:
- B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) endorsement within the last 24 months.
- At least 1,500 hours total flying time.
- At least 500 hours on B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type aircraft.
Knowledge / Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of ATPL subjects.
- Excellent CRM skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
- Proven command ability and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

ISR Requirements:
The First Officer reads and complies with the Information Security Requirements (ISR) policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. He/She completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
