First Officer - Flydubai
Flydubai is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated First Officer to serve as second in command of the aircraft. The First Officer supports the Captain during all normal and abnormal situations, ensuring the highest level of safety at all times. He/She will maintain and demonstrate impeccable standards in all aspects of the position, acting as a brand ambassador to uphold the corporate image of flydubai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the safe day-to-day operation of the aircraft as second in command.
- Serve as a role model for all flydubai crew, preserving the corporate image.
- Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures by all crew members.
- Report any breaches in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or safety through the appropriate channels to the company or GCAA, facilitating continuous improvement in flight safety.
- Ensure fitness to fly at all times, notifying the company if otherwise.
- Operate the aircraft according to the approved policies and procedures as determined by flydubai and the GCAA.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
Minimum Qualification:
- ICAO ATPL certificate with a valid type rating.
- 1st Class Medical certificate from ICAO.
- English proficiency to ICAO level 4 or above.
- Eligible for a UAE residency visa.
- Must have flown within the last 24 months.
Experience:
- B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) endorsed within the last 24 months.
- At least 1,500 hours total flying time.
- At least 500 hours on B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type aircraft.
Knowledge / Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of ATPL subjects.
- Excellent Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
- Proven command ability and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to perform to a very high standard under pressure.

Information Security Responsibilities:
The First Officer reads and complies with the Information Security policies of the Company, diligently reporting any weaknesses or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. He/She completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in day-to-day business operations.
