First Officer
The First Officer serves as second-in-command of the aircraft, providing crucial support to the Captain in all routine and emergency situations to ensure the highest levels of safety are maintained. This individual will exemplify and uphold exceptional standards in all aspects of their duties, acting as a brand representative for flydubai and preserving the company's corporate image.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures the safe daily operation of the aircraft as second-in-command.
- Sets a positive example for all flydubai crew members, contributing to the preservation of the corporate image.
- Ensures adherence to all established policies and procedures by all crew members.
- Reports any breaches in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or safety protocols to the company or the GCAA through proper reporting channels, facilitating the identification of lessons to enhance flight safety.
- Maintains fitness for flight at all times and reports any condition that may impair this ability.
- Operates the aircraft in full compliance with the approved policies and procedures established by flydubai and the GCAA.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of an ICAO ATPL certificate with a valid type rating.
- A valid 1st Class Medical certificate issued by an ICAO-recognized authority.
- Demonstrated English language proficiency at ICAO Level 4 or higher.
- Eligibility for a UAE residency visa.
- Recent flight experience within the last 24 months.
Experience:
- Endorsement on B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) aircraft within the last 24 months.
- A minimum of 1,500 hours of total flying time.
- At least 500 hours of experience operating B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type aircraft.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of ATPL subjects.
- Excellent Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team.
- Proven command capability and relevant experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Information Security Responsibilities (ISR):
The First Officer is expected to read and comply with the Company's ISR policies. They will report any weaknesses or incidents to their Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completion of all required ISR awareness sessions and adherence to guidelines in daily business operations are mandatory.
