Minimum Requirements
Candidates must meet the following essential criteria:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 200 hours.
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: A minimum of 70 hours.
- Advanced Flight Qualifications: Applicants must possess Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) certification; alternatively, have held an EASA type rating on a High-Performance Aircraft (HPA); or possess Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) qualification on a Multi-Pilot Aircraft (MPA); or have accumulated 500 hours in multi-crew operations.
- Licensing: Hold a valid EASA Frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) certificate, Multi-Engine (ME) rating, and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) certificate.
- License Holder Eligibility: Open to EASA license holders.
- Medical Certificate: Possess a current EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Language Proficiency: Demonstrate ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or higher.
- COVID-19 Vaccination: Required where permitted by applicable law.
- Yellow Fever Vaccination: Required.
- Flight Instructor (FI) Experience: Required.
Preferred Qualifications
While not strictly mandatory, candidates with a DHC6 (Twin Otter) type rating and relevant operational experience are highly encouraged to apply, as this will be considered a significant advantage.
Training and Development
Zimex Aviation provides a type rating for the specific aircraft to successful candidates who do not already possess one, ensuring they are fully equipped for the role.
