Role Summary:

As a West Atlantic Pilot, you will be responsible for assisting with the operation of our company fleet. You will work alongside colleagues to ensure the company fulfils its customers requirements. You will take responsibility for ensuring safe operations and ensuring compliance with company procedures and standards.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety of company aircraft, cargo and occupants and following all specified instructions and procedures in the operations manuals.
  • Maintain familiarity with relevant United Kingdom, European and International air legislation and agreed aviation practices and procedures;
  • Maintain familiarity with Company Procedures and Manuals;
  • Report issues affecting airworthiness or the safety of the operation;
  • Operate in accordance with the company’s rostered plan, complying with Flight Time Limitations;
Non-Rated First Officers:

We are looking for Non-Type Rated First Officers to join our fleet.

Academic/Qualification Requirements:
  • Hold a current UK CAA Class One Medical
  • Hold a UK CPL or ATPL
  • Have a Type Rating or MEIR(A) on a UK CAA Licence
  • Have passed the UK CAA ATPL(A) theoretical exams
  • Hold an MCC Course Completion Certificate or hold a Type Rating on a UK CAA Licence
  • ICAO level 6 English proficiency
  • Hold a valid Passport
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Hold a UK recognised Driving Licence

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Able to swim 25meters unaided
  • If called upon, be prepared to evacuate an aircraft using escape ropes
  • Prepared to be within 2hours of their base for all duties

Other Skills & Experience:

  • Evidence of a proven ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adept problem solving and planning abilities
  • A customer focused attitude
  • Evidence of robust time management skills
  • Self discipline with a desire for continuous self development
  • Experience as an ATR Trainer is desirable

What We Offer (Terms)

Salary – First Officer: £34,071 upwards (subject to fleet, training and hours) + per diems

Working Patterns – Protected week off working patterns (subject to fleet)

Annual Leave 28 days

Loss of Licence Insurance

Pension

Training – Successful Applicants will complete a type rating and if necessary complete differences training. Costs will be borne by the Company but the successful candidate will be required to sign a loan agreement.

Fleet – successful candidates may be offered positions on either the ATR or B737 fleet subject to company need.

We are looking for First Officers with current type ratings to join our Boeing 737 fleet.

Academic/Qualification Requirements:

  • Hold a current UK CAA Class One Medical
  • Hold a UK Part FCL Licence with B737 Rating
  • ICAO level 6 English proficiency

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Hold a UK recognised Driving Licence

What We Offer (Terms)

Salary – First Officer: £38,016 Senior First Office £43,894 + per diems ( After completion of line check)

Shift Pattern – Week On, Week Off working pattern + 15 additional days

ATR Rated Captains:

Role Summary:

As a West Atlantic Pilot, you will be responsible for assisting with the operation of our company fleet. You will work alongside colleagues to ensure the company fulfils its customers requirements. As a trainer you will directly contribute to the company’s aim of supporting and developing its crews. You will also play a pivotal role in the development of new pilots, ensuring the highest standards of safety and professional enthusiasm are maintained.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of company aircraft, cargo and occupants and following all specified instructions and procedures in the operations manuals.
  • Maintain familiarity with company, United Kingdom, European and International air legislation and procedures;
  • Delivery of aircraft and ground based training and checking for flight crews;
  • Support the development of the training department with proposals to improve safety and efficiency;
  • Contribute to the delivery of training department projects;
  • Operate in accordance with the company’s rostered plan, complying with Flight Time Limitations;

Academic/Qualification Requirements:

  • Hold a current UK CAA Class One Medical
  • Hold a UK Part FCL ATPL
  • ICAO level 6 English proficiency
  • Minimum of 3000 hours total time in commercial operations
  • Minimum of 500 hours Command on multi-pilot turbo prop aircraft >20,000kg MTOW
  • Training Experience in commercial airline operations
  • Hold a valid Passport
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Hold a UK recognised Driving Licence
  • Experience as a TRI or TRE would be beneficial

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Able to swim 25meters unaided
  • If called upon, be prepared to evacuate an aircraft using escape ropes
  • Prepared to be within 90 minutes of their base for all duties

Other Skills & Experience:

  • Evidence of a proven ability to work under pressure

  • Proven experience of delivering training in a commercial airline environment

  • Confident ability to deliver training in varied environments.
