Waltzing Matilda Aviation LLC (WMA) | CL65 Flight Attendant

Waltzing Matilda Aviation LLC, a FAA Part 135 Air Carrier operating from Dallas Love Field, TX, is seeking a Full-Time Flight Attendant for its Part 135 luxury resort operations. This position will operate the Bombardier CRJ200 (CL-65) in a VIP configuration and requires the candidate to reside within a 1.5-hour call-out of the base.

About the Role

The Flight Attendant is integral to ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of all guests aboard Waltzing Matilda Aviation's luxury CRJ200 aircraft. Operating under the direction of the Pilot in Command, the Flight Attendant will execute all FAA-mandated safety duties as per 14 CFR Part 135, while simultaneously delivering a personalized and high-standard hospitality experience. This role is ideal for a safety-focused professional with prior cabin experience and exceptional service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure cabin safety and security in accordance with Part 135 regulations and company manuals.
• Conduct thorough preflight safety equipment checks and deliver passenger safety briefings.
• Manage cabin readiness for all phases of flight, including securing the cabin, galley, and baggage.
• Respond effectively to in-flight emergencies and medical events in coordination with the flight crew.
• Maintain clear communication with the flight deck and participate in crew resource management.
• Adhere to all security, hazardous materials, and food safety protocols.
• Contribute to the company's Safety Management System through reporting.
• Provide exceptional guest service, including personalized greetings, catering coordination, and attentive in-flight support.
• Maintain cabin cleanliness and manage inventory of amenities and supplies.
• Coordinate with ground services for a seamless guest experience.
• Uphold the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of flight attendant experience in Part 91, Part 135, or Part 121 operations.
• Ability to complete and maintain company Part 135 flight attendant training and qualification on the CRJ200.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, or the ability to obtain them prior to the first flight.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid U.S. passport with the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Ability to pass a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug test and participate in ongoing random testing.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work within a confined cabin environment.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, overnights, and peak travel seasons.

Preferred Qualifications

• Corporate or VIP charter flight attendant experience.
• Previous experience on CRJ series aircraft.
• Completion of formal corporate flight attendant training from a recognized program.
• Food safety or culinary certification, or formal training in food presentation and wine service.
• A background in luxury hospitality, fine dining, private clubs, or concierge services.
