About the Role
Jet Select, a Vista America company, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Cabin Host or Cabin Hostess to join its managed fleet based at Bridgeport Sikorsky Memorial Airport (KBDR) in Connecticut. This full-time, permanent role involves providing unparalleled service aboard luxury private jets, specifically the Gulfstream 550 (G550), ensuring an exceptional and comfortable experience for all passengers.
As a Cabin Host or Cabin Hostess with Jet Select, you will be an integral part of the Cabin Crew, meticulously planning and executing every detail of the customer's journey on a luxurious Gulfstream 550 (G550). Your primary focus will be creating a unique 'home away from home' experience, delivering tailored and unparalleled service for both Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
Key responsibilities for this Cabin Crew role include:

Operating and demonstrating all emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers, life rafts, oxygen equipment, and automatic external defibrillators.

Documenting cabin maintenance issues and assisting the Pilot in Command.

Briefing passengers on aircraft convenience systems (entertainment, high-speed data) and assisting with carry-on luggage and seating for all passengers, including those with disabilities or requiring restraint systems.

Planning, ordering, preparing, and serving all meals and beverages, accommodating various dietary needs including common allergens (fish, shellfish, wheat, soy, milk, tree nuts, peanuts).

Ensuring the aircraft is prepared to specifications, clean, and fully serviced (water, lavatories) prior to each flight.

Conducting pre-flight checks of all cabin safety equipment.

Assisting and commanding the cabin during aircraft or medical emergencies, and supporting flight crew in safety-related tasks.

Developing standard stock inventories and sourcing vendors for aircraft cabin, lavatory, and galley supplies.

Working in environments that may include animals and smoking.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required; a college degree is preferred.

A minimum of three (3) years of high-end service experience in private or commercial (First Class or Business Class cabin) aviation, or other luxury sectors.

Possession of a valid US Driver’s License.

A US passport or Green Card holder with the legal right to live and work in the USA, along with the ability to obtain a second passport and crew visas.

Legal right to travel without restriction to and from all countries served by Vista America.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken, in English. Proficiency in additional languages and international cultural experiences are advantageous.
