About the Role
As a Cabin Crew member, you will play a vital role in delivering a seamless and memorable travel experience for our guests. Based in Perth, you will primarily operate on flights returning to the city on the same day, with occasional overnight stays required.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and assisting passengers onboard Virgin Australia aircraft.
- Providing clear and comprehensive safety briefings, ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
- Delivering exceptional customer service, catering to the needs of all guests, including those with special requirements.
- Providing a fun and engaging experience for unaccompanied minors.
- Working collaboratively as part of a team, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Maintaining composure and professionalism in challenging situations, including weather delays, emergencies, and unexpected occurrences.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking individuals who embody the Virgin Australia spirit - enthusiastic, compassionate, and committed to exceeding expectations. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
- Minimum three years of proven experience in customer service-oriented roles, including caring for people in various settings such as healthcare, hospitality, or retail.
- Valid Australian passport with a minimum of 18 months remaining.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Current Australian First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Availability to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including early starts, late finishes, weekends, public holidays, and peak periods.
- Height requirement of 180cm or less.
