First Officer - UPS
UPS is seeking a qualified and dedicated First Officer to join its flight operations team, based in Louisville, Kentucky. The First Officer will be responsible for performing Part 121 revenue flying, ensuring the safe, on-time, and efficient operation of UPS aircraft while adhering to all FAA regulations and company policies. This role requires maintaining all FAA-required licenses, ratings, and certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Part 121 revenue flying operations.
- Ensure the safe, on-time, and efficient operation of UPS aircraft.
- Maintain all FAA-required licenses, ratings, and certifications.
- Work cooperatively with other crew members, including those with differing viewpoints.
- Communicate effectively within the cockpit environment to convey procedures, conversations, and radio transmissions clearly.
- Demonstrate sound decision-making capabilities under pressure.
- Adapt to diversified flight schedules, situations, and scenarios.
Required Qualifications:
- Possession of a current unrestricted ATP certificate with an Airplane category multi-engine class rating and English proficiency endorsement.
- Possession of a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Possession of an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (Sponsorship is not available).
- Possession of a valid passport and documentation allowing entry into the United States after an international flight.
- A minimum of 1500 hours of total fixed-wing pilot time.
- A minimum of 1000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) hours in fixed-wing jet and/or fixed-wing multi-engine turboprop per 14 CFR 1.1. (Military candidates may add a plus (.3) per sortie factor to flight time.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
- Recent experience and type of experience, with preference given to candidates with demonstrated flight experience in transport category aircraft within the last 12 months from the date of application.
