Position Summary:
The First Officer plays a critical role in the safe, timely, and efficient operation of UPS aircraft, ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services around the world. Successful candidates will be responsible for adhering to all Part 121 revenue flying regulations and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and airmanship.
Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:
- Unrestricted ATP certificate with an Airplane category multi-engine class rating and English proficiency endorsement.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Authorization to work in the US (Sponsorship is not available for this position).
- Valid Passport and documentation allowing for entry into the United States after international flights.
- Minimum of 1500 hours of total fixed-wing pilot time.
- Minimum of 1000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) hours in fixed-wing jet and/or fixed-wing multi-engine turboprop per 14 CFR 1.1.
- Adherence to the FAA definition of Pilot in Command as outlined in 14 CFR 1.1.
Military Conversion:
UPS recognizes the valuable experience gained during military service and will allow candidates to add a plus (.3) per sortie factor to their total flight time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
- Recent experience in transport category aircraft within the last 12 months from the date of application.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment, fostering collaboration and respectful communication.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey procedures, engage in conversation, and deliver precise radio transmissions within a cockpit environment.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions under pressure and adapt to diverse flight schedules, situations, and scenarios.

- As this is a safety-sensitive position, all candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug screen in accordance with 14 CFR Part 120.107, 14 CFR Part 120.109(a)(5), and 14 CFR 120 Subpart E.
