Requirements

Unrestricted and valid UK CAA-issued CPL with ATPL theory credits.

Valid UK CAA Class 1 Medical.

Minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4.

Successful completion of an MCC (Multi-Crew Cooperation) course.

Successful completion of Advanced UPRT (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training).

Eligibility for Zero Flight Time Training (ZFTT). This requires a minimum of 500 hours flight time or 100 route sectors on a multi-pilot turbo-jet aeroplane (CS-25 or equivalent) or a multi-pilot turbo-prop aeroplane with a maximum certificated take-off mass of not less than 10 tonnes or a passenger seating configuration exceeding 19.

Valid passport permitting unrestricted worldwide travel.

Legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom without restrictions.

Ability to pass pre-employment and airport security background checks.

Minimum height of 1.58m (5ft 2in).

Ability to swim at least 25m.

Ability to report to the home base within a maximum commuting time of 90 minutes when on standby duty.

Understanding that the roster will vary significantly without a fixed pattern, and commuting contracts are not offered.
