This position is a Corporate Pilot which has the responsibility for the safe and efficient transportation of company employees and guests while flying assigned flights on company aircraft. The Pilot will exercise command authority during all phases of flight and direct the activities of the non-flying pilot throughout assigned flight operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as PIC of flights for which the pilot has been assigned
  • Comply with schedules and other directives governing aircraft operation
  • Ensure preflight inspections are performed
  • Prepare and file flight plans
  • Calculate, review, and log the aircraft weight and balance data; determine fuel requirements; review performance charts before each flight
  • Make decisions necessary to start, delay, or cancel flights
  • Deviate around adverse weather and avoid thunderstorm activity
  • Arrange for hangar and aircraft maintenance during layovers, as required
  • Complete post-flight status checks and aircraft inspection according to established procedures
  • Complete flight maintenance log forms

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • G280 Type rating desired
  • 3500 hours total flight time, 2000 hours turbo-jet flight time
  • First Class FAA Medical certification
  • Certification as an FAA Multi-Engine Land Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
  • At least one FAA Multi-Engine Land Jet type rating
  • 5 years of diversified flight experience reflecting the operation of various types of aircraft, instructional flying, and instrument flying experience
  • Ability to respond immediately to emergencies and make necessary command decisions
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain proximity to MSN airport and be able to fly within 4 hours of a call
  • Additional duties as assigned to assist with the officiant operation of the flight department

Position Specific :

  • Maintain an FAA 1st Class physical
  • Complete recurrent training in company aircraft
  • Compensation commensurate with experience

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

Base Salary Range: $134,800.00 - $202,200.00
