Pilot - Maritime Surveillance Missions
TSC, a leading provider of advanced technology solutions for the defense and aerospace industries, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced pilot to join its team. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the security of the United States and its allies by supporting civil fisheries enforcement maritime surveillance missions in the Central and Western Pacific.
Responsibilities:
- Pilot and command a King Air 200 aircraft on surveillance missions, operating under dual pilot procedures in accordance with 14 CFR Part 91.
- Prepare and file flight plans, conduct pre-flight inspections to ensure proper loading, equipment, and staffing.
- Maintain correct weight and balance, ensuring adequate fuel supply for each mission.
- Conduct briefings with crew members and non-crew members on safety and emergency procedures, adhering to TSC and relevant regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive flight records.
- Foster effective communication with crew and ground personnel throughout the mission.
- Actively participate with the deployed team in both aviation and non-aviation capacities.
- Provide aircraft and program capabilities briefings to local officials as required.
Essential Qualifications:
- Commercial Pilot License (Airplane Multi-Engine Land) with Instrument Rating.
- Significant experience in surveillance operations or similar mission profiles.
- Current second-class medical certificate.
- Valid passport.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive working relationships with tasking authorities, local officials, customer representatives, and crew members.
- Good health and physical conditioning appropriate for demanding mission requirements.
- Proven track record as a professional aviator, evidenced by exemplary references.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
Flight Time Requirements:
Candidates will be evaluated based on quality, quantity, recency, and verifiability of training and experience, including:
- Minimum of 1,000 total flight hours.
- Minimum of 700 hours as pilot in command.
- Minimum of 500 hours in multi-engine land aircraft.
- Minimum of 250 hours in turbine-powered aircraft.
Preferred Flight Experience:
- Minimum of 3,000 hours of documented flight time.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours as pilot in command.
- Minimum of 1,000 hours in multi-engine land aircraft.
- 200 hours in BE200/350 aircraft.
- 100 hours of instrument (actual) time.
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification.
Travel Requirements:
This position requires significant travel as part of a rotational schedule, consisting of approximately 60-day deployments followed by 60 days off.
