B737 First/Second Officer - TUI Airways

TUI Airways is seeking highly motivated and customer-focused B737 First/Second Officers to join its team at one of its UK bases. Reporting to a Pilot Manager, the First/Second Officer will receive comprehensive career support and welfare assistance.

The First/Second Officer will be based at one of TUI's twelve UK bases and will operate the B737 aircraft to a diverse range of destinations, including Europe and North Africa. More experienced officers may have the opportunity to fly to challenging airports such as Innsbruck and Funchal. After completing relevant training and becoming established in the role, the First/Second Officer can apply to support other areas of Flight Operations, such as Flight Safety, Recruitment, and Training, as vacancies arise. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid UK CAA issued CPL and Multi-Engine IR(A) with ATPL theory credits (frozen ATPL, modular, or integrated) or MPL
  • Current UK CAA issued Class 1 medical certificate
  • Completion of an MCC course (as per FCL.735.A)
  • Completion of advanced UPRT training (as per FCL.745.A)
  • Eligibility for Zero Flight Time Training (as per FCL.730.A)
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) with ICAO Level 4 proficiency
  • Eligibility to live and work indefinitely in the UK without additional approvals (visa sponsorship not available)
  • Valid passport permitting unrestricted worldwide travel
  • Minimum height of 1.58m (5ft 2in)
  • Ability to swim at least 25m
  • Completion of referencing and pre-employment background checks required for airport security ID issuance before commencing training
  • Commutable distance from place of residence to home base not exceeding 60 minutes within the UK
