This is an exempt position reporting to the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations.

Current Base Locations: DUJ, BFD, BRL, LNS, HOT, HRO, ELD, UIN, HNL, OGG, and IPT.
The route structure is designed to enable most pilots to be home every day during their workweek, offering flexibility on schedules.

Requirements for this Position:

  • Holds a current FAA pilot license: Commercial with Instrument rating.
  • Possesses Single and Multi-engine land ratings.
  • Has accumulated at least 6 months as a pilot.
  • Meets minimum flight hour requirements:
    • 500 hours total time.
    • 100 Cross Country hours, with at least 25 hours flown at night.
    • 50 hours turbine time OR 75 hours instrument time.
  • Holds a current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate (certificate must be current prior to training).
  • Holds a Radio Operators Certificate.
  • Possesses a valid US Passport (required for CASS participation).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. per the Immigration Act of 1986.
  • Must successfully pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screening in accordance with airline and/or company regulations.

Additional Details:

  • A minimum block hour guarantee of 65 hours per month commences on the first day of the training class.
  • Pay structure is based on block hours flown:
    • $12 per block hour during training.
    • $15 per block hour upon release to the line for pilots with under 600 total flight hours.
    • $18 per block hour for pilots with 600-900 total flight hours.
    • $21 per block hour for pilots with over 900 total flight hours.
  • Hotel accommodations are provided during the approximate 25-day training period.
  • A training contract of $20,100 is required.
  • Training is paid.
  • A $35 flat rate per diem is provided when on an overnight away from the assigned base.
  • The company participates in the CASS program.
