First Officer - Caravan
Southern Airways, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Surf Air Mobility and a leading regional airline, seeks a dedicated and professional First Officer to operate the Caravan C-208 aircraft. Current base locations include DUJ, BFD, BRL, MGW, MKG, LNS, HOT, HRO, ELD, UIN, MKL, HNL, OGG, and KOA. The route structure allows for most pilots to return home daily during their workweek, with flexible scheduling options available.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the Caravan C-208 aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers.

Requirements:
- Current FAA Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating.
- Single and Multi-engine land rating.
- Minimum of six months of pilot experience.
- Minimum of 250 total flight hours; 100 hours cross-country (25 of which are night), and 50 hours turbine OR 75 hours instrument time.
- Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate (must be current prior to training).
- Radio Operators Certificate.
- Valid US Passport (needed for CASS).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be available to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Additional Stipulations:
- Guaranteed 65 block hours per month, commencing on the first day of training.
- Pay structure: $12 per block hour during training; $15 per block hour upon release to the line for under 600 hours; $18 per block hour for 600-900 hours; and $21 per block hour for over 900 hours.
- Hotel accommodations provided during training (approximately 25 days).
- $20,100 training contract required.
- Paid training.
- Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance plans are available with the company contributing significantly to the costs. A $50,000 company-paid life insurance policy is also provided.
- $35 flat rate per diem for overnights away from the assigned base.
- CASS participant.
