Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safe and compliant operation of the Gulfstream G650 aircraft in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
- Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, meticulously reviewing aircraft maintenance status, and verifying approved Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM) guidelines.
- Performing comprehensive checks of weather conditions, route facilities, and designated as well as alternate airports to ensure optimal flight planning and execution.
- Upholding the highest standards of safety for all passengers, crew, and the aircraft during all phases of flight.
- Accurately completing all required trip paperwork and documentation in adherence to current operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Flight Hour Requirements:
- Total Time: 3000 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) Time: 500 hours
- Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
- Instrument Time: 250 hours
Specific Certifications & Requirements:
- Current Gulfstream G650 type rating, or type rating on a comparable large cabin aircraft.
- Valid FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Ability to work on an on-call basis, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
- Willingness to complete annual ICAO International Procedures training.
- Primary residence within a two-hour drive of Teterboro Airport (KTEB) or a readiness to relocate to the area.

Solairus Aviation offers competitive compensation for this critical role. The salary range for Solairus crewmembers typically falls between $50,000 and $500,000 annually. Compensation is determined by various factors, including geographic area, experience level, equipment type/aircraft, specific job duties, training qualifications, and the assigned account.
