Position Overview

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

The Global 7500 Captain will be entrusted with the comprehensive and safe operation of the Global 7500 aircraft, ensuring all flights are conducted with the highest degree of professionalism and adherence to regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safe and prudent conduct of all flight operations in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and Solairus Aviation policies and procedures.
• Thoroughly reviewing aircraft maintenance status and conducting comprehensive pre-flight inspections as per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM).
• Diligently assessing weather conditions, airport facilities, and potential alternate airports along the planned route.
• Prioritizing and ensuring the utmost safety and well-being of all passengers, aircraft, and crew throughout all phases of flight.
• Accurately completing all required trip documentation and administrative paperwork in accordance with established company procedures.

Required Qualifications and Certifications

Prospective candidates must meet stringent qualification criteria, demonstrating extensive aviation experience and specific certifications:

• Minimum of 3,000 hours Total Flight Time.
• At least 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
• A minimum of 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time.
• At least 500 hours Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) time.
• A minimum of 500 hours of Turbojet aircraft experience.
• At least 250 hours of Instrument flight time.
• Possession of a current Global 7500 Type Rating, or a type rating on a comparable large cabin aircraft.
• Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis, accommodating a dynamic flight schedule.
• Commitment to completing annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour driving radius of KBDL (Windsor Locks, CT) or a willingness to relocate.
