Gulfstream G150 Captain Position – Visalia, CA

Solairus Aviation seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Gulfstream G150 Captain to join its operations based at KVIS airport. This full-time position requires an exceptional individual committed to excellence in all aspects of flight operations and a strong team player who embodies Solairus' commitment to safety, service, and integrity. The successful candidate will contribute to the safe and efficient fulfillment of client travel needs.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

The Captain will be responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G150 aircraft, ensuring adherence to all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Aviation policies and procedures. This includes:

Safe and prudent flight execution.
Thorough pre-flight inspection in accordance with the Aircraft Flight Manual.
Comprehensive weather and facility assessment along planned routes and at all designated airports, including alternates.
Meticulous review of aircraft maintenance status.
Prioritization of the safety of all passengers, crew, and aircraft.
Accurate and timely completion of all required trip documentation.

Qualifications:

Total flight time: 3000 hours
Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
Multi-Engine Land PIC time: 500 hours
Turbojet time: 500 hours
Instrument time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications:

Gulfstream G150 (or comparable aircraft) type rating.
First-class medical certificate.
Availability for on-call duty.
Capability to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
Residence within a two-hour drive of KVIS, or willingness to relocate.

Compensation:

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $500,000, commensurate with experience, location, aircraft type, job responsibilities, training, and assigned account.
