Pilot in Command - Gulfstream 450
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and part of the world's largest private aviation infrastructure, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Gulfstream 450 (G450) aircraft based in Conroe, TX. This is a two-pilot operation, supported by a Maintenance Technician, flying under both Part 91 and 135 regulations.
Responsibilities:
The PIC assumes ultimate responsibility for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. This role encompasses a comprehensive range of duties, including:
Safety:
- Ensuring crew assignments adhere to company and regulatory requirements.
- Completing flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for every mission.
- Leading pre-flight briefings utilizing the Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks.
- Adhering to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating with EJM personnel as needed.
- Acting as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as outlined by company policy.
- Performing comprehensive pre-flight checks, including the maintenance status of the aircraft, to ensure mission readiness. Recording any discrepancies according to company SOPs.
- Monitoring and ensuring all ground servicing requirements (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are met in accordance with SOPs.
- Conducting passenger briefings adhering to company policies and regulations.
- Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate effectively and promptly with the crew and support personnel in normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
Service Excellence:
- Providing superior service to aircraft owners and passengers while proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Resolving service deviations promptly and professionally.
- Collaborating with fellow crew members and internal EJM partners to ensure a consistently positive experience for owners and passengers.
- Resolving conflicts and challenges in a constructive and acceptable manner.
Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintaining current regulatory and company-required training and experience.
- Adhering to the company Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting any safety concerns or non-compliance issues through the appropriate channels.
Qualifications:
- Certifications and Licenses: FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience. Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.
- Type Rating: Preference will be given to candidates with a GV/450/550 type rating.
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
