Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G150 aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Aviation policies and procedures.
- Thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Comprehensive review of weather conditions and navigational facilities along the planned route, including designated alternate airports.
- Rigorous assessment of the aircraft's maintenance status.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all passengers and crew.
- Meticulous completion of all required flight documentation according to established procedures.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Total flight time: 3000 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
- Multi-engine land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
- MEL PIC time: 500 hours
- Turbine jet time: 500 hours
- Instrument time: 250 hours
Specific Qualifications and Certifications:
- Type rating on a Gulfstream G150 or comparable aircraft.
- Possession of a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- Availability for on-call assignments.
- Ability to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
- Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KVIS airport, or willingness to relocate.
Additional Information:
Compensation for this position ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually. The final salary will be determined based on factors including geographic location, experience level, aircraft type, job responsibilities, training, and assigned account.
