Overview
Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Falcon 900EX EASy Captain to join its esteemed operations based at San Jose International Airport (KSJC). Essential Responsibilities and Duties
The Falcon 900EX EASy Captain holds paramount responsibility for the safe and prudent operation of the aircraft. Key duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the safe operation of the Falcon 900EX EASy aircraft.
- Conducting flights in strict accordance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Performing comprehensive pre-flight inspections, referencing the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Thoroughly reviewing aircraft maintenance status prior to each flight.
- Conducting complete checks of weather conditions and facility availability along the planned route, including alternate airports.
- Ensuring the utmost safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and crew members.
- Accurately completing all required trip paperwork in adherence to current procedures.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Prospective candidates must meet the following minimum flight hour requirements:
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC): 500 hours
- Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
- Instrument Time: 250 hours
Specific Certifications and Requirements
- Possession of a current type rating on Falcon 900EX EASy or a comparable aircraft.
- A valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate is required.
- Ability to work on an on-call basis to meet dynamic operational demands.
- Commitment to completing annual ICAO International procedures training.
- Primary residence must be within a two-hour drive of KSJC, or candidates must be willing to relocate to meet this requirement.
Compensation Information
Solairus Aviation collects salary range information based on market conditions from multiple industry sources. Solairus crewmembers are compensated between $50,000 and $500,000 annually, with remuneration determined by factors such as geographic area, experience, specific equipment type/aircraft, job duties, required training, and the assigned account.
