Falcon 2000LX Captain - Addison, TX (KADS)

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly qualified, full-time Falcon 2000LX Captain to join a Part 91 flight operation based at KADS airport in Addison, Texas. This pivotal role requires an exceptional aviation professional who demonstrates a commitment to safety, service, and integrity, aligning with Solairus Aviation's distinguished culture. This is a non-remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

The Falcon 2000LX Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Ensuring the safe operation of the Falcon 2000LX aircraft during all phases of flight.
  • Conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner, strictly adhering to all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures.
  • Performing comprehensive pre-flight duties, including reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status and conducting a thorough pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Completing a detailed check of weather conditions, airport facilities, and potential alternate airports along the planned route.
  • Ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers, the aircraft, and the flight crew.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork following current procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

Prospective candidates must meet the following flight hour requirements:

  • Total Time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land PIC: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
  • Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Must hold a type rating on the Falcon 2000LX or a comparable aircraft type.
  • Possession of a current First Class Medical Certificate is required.
  • Ability to work on an on-call basis as required by the operation.
  • Must successfully complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
  • Primary residence must be within a two-hour driving radius of KADS airport, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.

Additional Information:

Solairus Aviation determines compensation based on market conditions, experience, geographic area, aircraft type, job duties, training, and the specific account assignment. The salary range for Solairus crew members is between $50,000 and $500,000 annually.
