Position Summary
The Corporate Pilot (Captain) is a key member of the high-performing flight operations team. This role involves primary responsibility for the safety and comfort of passengers during travel, ensuring strict adherence to all relevant aviation statutes and regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Operates Citizens Bank corporate aircraft as either Pilot in Command or Second in Command.
- Executes all duties and responsibilities associated with corporate flight department operations, including participating in recurrent training, comprehensive trip planning, managing ground travel arrangements, and contributing to safety management meetings.
- Extends professional greetings to passengers and assists with seating arrangements and luggage storage.
- Conducts thorough passenger briefings prior to flight.
Required Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
- Proven proficiency in both Pilot in Command and Second in Command duties.
- Extensive experience in comprehensive trip planning, encompassing weather analysis, itinerary development, aircraft loading calculations, and fuel management.
- Demonstrated strong level of professionalism in all operational aspects.
- Ability to successfully pass the required vetting procedure for crew access at Bradley International Airport.
- Strong aptitude for technology, with competence in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience operating within the established rules and procedures of the International Standards for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO).
Education, Certifications, and Professional Credentials:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Holds a current, unrestricted FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Possesses a current Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Must hold a Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy II type rating. Recurrent training completed within the last 12 months is strongly preferred.
- Holds a current FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Must successfully pass a clear record check from the National Driver Register.
- Must pass credential confirmation through the Pilot Records Improvement Act.
Location and Commute:
The successful candidate must reside within a ground commute of less than three hours from the flight department's base in Windsor Locks, CT.
Work Schedule
- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Schedule: Primarily Monday through Friday, with weekends required as operational needs dictate.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $210,000 - $225,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
