Global Express XRS Captain - Burbank, CA

Solairus Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Global Express XRS Captain to join its team at the KBUR airport in Burbank, California. The successful candidate will be a collaborative and safety-conscious aviation professional committed to excellence in all aspects of flight operations. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Overview:

The Global Express XRS Captain is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Global Express aircraft, adhering to Solairus Aviation's stringent standards of safety, service, and integrity. The Captain will expertly meet the travel needs of clients while contributing to a positive and productive team environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the safe operation of the Global Express aircraft.
• Conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner, in compliance with:
  • Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
  • Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Performing comprehensive checks of weather and facilities along the flight route and at planned and alternate airports.
  • Ensuring flight operations align with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
  • Accurately completing all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.

Qualifications:

• Total flight time: 3000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land PIC time: 500 hours
• Turbo Jet time: 500 hours
• Instrument time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications/Certifications:

• Type rating on BBD700 or comparable aircraft.
• Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Successful completion of ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KBUR or willingness to relocate.

Compensation:

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary, ranging from $50,000 to $500,000, commensurate with experience, geographic location, equipment type, job duties, training, and assigned account.
