Global Express XRS Captain - Burbank, CA

Solairus Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Global Express XRS Captain to join its team at the KBUR airport in Burbank, CA. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member, committed to excellence in all aspects of flight operations. The Captain will contribute to a hardworking team focused on safely and expertly meeting client travel needs, while upholding Solairus Aviation's culture of safety, service, and integrity. This is a full-time, non-remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures the safe operation of the Global Express aircraft.
• Conducts flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all applicable regulations and Solairus Aviation policies. This includes:
  • Reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status.
  • Performing thorough pre-flight inspections according to the Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Conducting complete checks of weather conditions and facilities along the intended route, including alternate airports.
  • Ensuring compliance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Maintaining the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork.

Qualifications:

• Total flight time: 3000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land PIC time: 500 hours
• Turbojet time: 500 hours
• Instrument time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications/Certifications:

• Type rating on BBD700 or comparable aircraft.
• Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Completion of ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KBUR or willingness to relocate.
