Pilot-in-Command - Global 6000
This position requires a highly skilled and experienced pilot to command and operate Global 6000 (BBD-700) aircraft in accordance with all applicable FAA, company, and customer directives. The pilot will collaborate with maintenance personnel to analyze and rectify aircraft discrepancies. This is a full-time employment opportunity with a rotation schedule at an overseas location. Additional duties may be assigned by management.
General Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must possess a current U.S. passport.
- Must hold a Top Secret security clearance with Special Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Must meet all required medical standards.
- Must possess an FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
FAA Requirements:
- Must possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with Multiengine Land rating.
- Must possess an Instrument – Airplane rating.
Flight Time Requirements:
- A minimum of 3,000 hours of total documented flight time is required.
- A minimum of 1,500 hours of total Pilot-in-Command time is required.
- A minimum of 1,500 hours of turbine, fixed-wing multiengine time is required.
Consideration will be given to the quality, quantity, recent experience, and verifiability of training, complexity of aircraft flown, types of flight operations, and PIC hours in turbine-powered aircraft when evaluating flight time. Applicants invited to interview must provide documentation of all flight hours.
Preferred Experience:
- BBD-700 type rating or other similar type ratings (GL5T, GL7T) are preferred.
- 5,000 hours of total documented flight time is preferred.
- 500 hours of actual instrument flight time is preferred.
- 1,000 hours of business or large jet time is preferred.
- Holding the required ratings for the last three (3) consecutive years is preferred.
- SERE-C (Combat SERE) or service equivalent is preferred.
- SERE 220 certification is preferred.
Licensing and Certification Requirements:
Formal or specialized training/equivalent on assigned aircraft and equipment, including FAA BBD-700 type rating, is required.
Additional Requirements:
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and a medical exam administered by L3Harris.
- A criminal history records check and a background check will be performed.
Special consideration will be given to military-trained aviators who may not meet the minimum hour requirements.
