About the Role

Responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft.

Conducts flights prudently, adhering to the Aircraft Flight Manual and company policies.

Reviews aircraft maintenance status before flight operations.

Performs thorough pre-flight inspections.

Assesses weather conditions and airport facilities, including alternates, for planned routes.

Ensures flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.

Prioritizes the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.

Completes all trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
Requirements

Total flight time: 3000 hours

Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours

Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours

MEL PIC time: 500 hours

Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours

Instrument flight time: 250 hours
Qualifications

Type rating on the Gulfstream G550 or a comparable aircraft.

Valid first-class medical certificate.

Availability to work on an on-call basis.

Ability to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.

Must reside within a two-hour drive of KSJC or be willing to relocate.
