Essential Responsibilities and Duties

The Falcon 900LX Captain bears primary responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. Key duties include, but are not limited to, the meticulous planning and execution of flights in strict adherence to company policies, industry best practices, and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). Specific responsibilities encompass:

Ensuring the safe operation of the Falcon 900LX aircraft.
Conducting comprehensive flight preparations, including a thorough review of the aircraft's maintenance status.
Performing detailed pre-flight inspections in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
Conducting exhaustive checks of weather conditions, NOTAMs, and facility availability along the intended route, including primary and alternate airports.
Ensuring all flights are conducted in full compliance with Solairus Aviation's comprehensive policies and procedures, alongside Federal Aviation Regulations.
Prioritizing and ensuring the utmost safety and well-being of all passengers, the aircraft, and the flight crew.
Accurately completing all required trip paperwork and documentation in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications

Prospective candidates must meet the following minimum flight experience requirements:

Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
Multi-Engine Land Pilot in Command (MEL PIC) Time: 500 hours
Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

Additionally, applicants must possess:

A current Type Rating on the Falcon 900LX or a comparable aircraft.
A valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
The ability to operate effectively on an on-call basis, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
A commitment to completing annual ICAO International procedures training.
A primary residence within Texas, or a willingness to relocate to the region.

Compensation Information

Solairus Aviation is committed to offering competitive compensation, with salary ranges determined by comprehensive market analysis across various industry sources. Compensation for Solairus crewmembers typically ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually, influenced by factors such as geographic location, extensive experience, specific aircraft type, job duties, required training, and the assigned client account.
