Solairus Aviation | BD-700 Captain

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Global 6000 Captain to join a corporate flight operation based at Van Nuys Airport (KVNY) in California. This position will focus on the safe and efficient operation of the Global 6000 aircraft.

About the Role

The Global 6000 Captain will be responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft, conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner. Key duties include reviewing aircraft maintenance status, performing pre-flight inspections, assessing weather and facilities, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies. The Captain will also be responsible for the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft, and for accurately completing all required trip paperwork.

Requirements

• 3,000 hours total flight time
• 1,500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time
• 1,500 hours multi-engine land (MEL) time
• 500 hours MEL PIC time
• 500 hours in turbojet aircraft
• 250 hours instrument time
• Type rating on the Global 6000 or a comparable aircraft
• Valid first-class medical certificate
• Ability to work on an on-call basis
• Completion of annual ICAO international procedures training
• Must maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KVNY or be willing to relocate
