Solairus Aviation | BD-700 Captain

Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Global 5500 Captain to join its team at the KRYY airport. This individual will be a collaborative team member who consistently strives for excellence in all aspects of their performance. The successful candidate will contribute to a hardworking team committed to safely and expertly fulfilling the travel requirements of clients, while upholding Solairus's established culture of safety, service, and integrity.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Captain will be responsible for the safe operation of the Global 5500 aircraft. This includes conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to the following procedures:

• Reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status.
• Performing a thorough pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Conducting a comprehensive check of weather conditions and facilities along the intended flight path, including alternate airports.
• Ensuring all flights are executed in compliance with Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures, as well as applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Completing all necessary trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with current procedures.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3000 hours total flight time.
• A minimum of 1500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
• A minimum of 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time.
• A minimum of 500 hours Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) time.
• A minimum of 500 hours of flight time in a Turbo Jet aircraft.
• A minimum of 250 hours of Instrument flight time.

Specific Qualifications/Certifications:

• Must be type-rated on the Global 5500 or a comparable aircraft.
• Must possess a valid First Class Medical certificate.
• Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Must complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Must reside within a two-hour driving radius of KRYY, or be willing to relocate.

Additional Information:

Solairus Aviation offers competitive salaries based on market conditions, ranging from $50,000 to $500,000. Compensation is determined by geographic location, experience, aircraft type, job responsibilities, training, and the specific account assignment.
