Global 5500 Captain - Atlanta, GA

Solairus Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Global 5500 Captain to be based in Atlanta, GA, specifically at the KRYY airport. This is a full-time, non-remote position. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member who demonstrates a commitment to excellence in all aspects of their duties. They will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Global 5500 aircraft, adhering to Solairus Aviation’s standards of safety, service, and integrity.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Operate the Global 5500 aircraft safely and responsibly.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Meticulously review aircraft maintenance status, weather conditions, and airport facilities along planned routes, including alternate options.
• Ensure strict compliance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Prioritize the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft at all times.
• Complete all trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with current procedures.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3000 hours total flight time.
• A minimum of 1500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
• A minimum of 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time.
• A minimum of 500 hours MEL PIC time.
• A minimum of 500 hours Turbo Jet time.
• A minimum of 250 hours Instrument time.

Specific Qualifications/Certifications:

• Type rating on the Global 5500 or a comparable aircraft.
• Possession of a valid First Class Medical certificate.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis.
• Completion of ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a 2-hour drive from KRYY or a willingness to relocate.

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $500,000, commensurate with experience, location, equipment type, job duties, and training.
