Professional First Officer (Co-pilot)
The organization is currently seeking highly motivated, qualified, and safety-focused aviators to fill the role of First Officer (Co-pilot). This critical position supports the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in all phases of flight operations, ensuring the utmost adherence to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency within a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
The First Officer is responsible for executing assigned duties in collaboration with the Pilot-in-Command, which include, but are not limited to:
- Assists the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) with all necessary procedures to conduct the assigned flight safely, legally, and efficiently.
- Actively participates in pre-flight preparations, checklist execution, in-flight monitoring of aircraft systems, and strategic decision-making processes.
- Collaborates effectively with the PIC and ground personnel, including passenger service employees, to ensure seamless and prompt departure operations.
- Maintains exemplary professionalism and ensures superior operational standards are upheld during all phases of duty.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates applying for the First Officer position must satisfy the following minimum qualifications for consideration:
- The applicant must be a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must possess and maintain a valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.
- Required to hold the English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on the Airman Certificate, demonstrating superior aviation communication skills.
- Must maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate, strictly adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) regarding fitness for flight duty.
- The successful candidate must be a U.S. citizen or able to provide verifiable proof of legal authorization and right to work within the U.S.
