Summary of Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and ensuring the safety of all passengers from take-off to landing. The role also includes performing other duties as assigned, in accordance with the Company Operations Manual.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Valid Canadian ATPL is required.
- A minimum of 3000 hours total flying time is required.
- A minimum of 1000 hours jet time is required.
- A minimum of 2000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) is required.
- A valid Class 1 Medical is required.
- Previous Jet experience is required.
- Hands-on experience with advanced avionics/glass cockpit/FMS is required.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
- A university degree or diploma in aviation or another technical college program is considered an asset.
- A valid passport and the unrestricted ability to travel and obtain visas worldwide is required.
- Must be capable of lifting 60 lbs.
- Must be willing to perform non-flying duties including, but not limited to: light aircraft grooming away from base, stocking of aircraft commissary, updating EFBs and other manuals as required, and completing all mandatory company online training in a timely manner.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, which may include occasional trips exceeding two weeks away from base.
- Must possess a strong customer service orientation.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information confidentially is required.
- Strong communication skills are required.
- Ability to effectively problem-solve in time-sensitive situations is required.
- A proven record of exercising sound judgment is required.
